A Hipobuy parcel typically passes through three tracking systems on its way to you: the Hipobuy dashboard, the international carrier, and your local post. Miss one hop and the parcel looks “stuck”. This article maps the full chain.
Leg 1: The Hipobuy Dashboard
Your first source of truth. When shipping is paid, an outbound tracking number appears on the order card. That number is the international carrier’s reference and stays valid all the way to your local post handover.
Leg 2: The International Carrier
Enter the tracking number on the carrier’s official site:
- YunExpress – yunexpress.com/tools/parcel-tracking
- 4PX – 4px.com
- Sunyou – sypost.net
- DHL – dhl.com/tracking
- FedEx – fedex.com/tracking
Each shows scans by facility – departure from origin, hub scan, arrival in destination country.
Leg 3: Local Post
Once the parcel clears your country’s customs, the local post takes over. You may need a different tracking source:
- USA – USPS
- UK – Royal Mail / Evri / DPD depending on the last-mile contract
- Germany – Deutsche Post / DHL Domestic
- France – La Poste / Colissimo
- Australia – AusPost
Some carriers give you the local tracking number automatically; others reuse the international one.
Universal Aggregators
When you cannot tell which system a scan belongs to, use 17track.net or Parcelsapp.com. Paste the international number – they pull updates from multiple carriers into a single timeline.
Reading the Common Statuses
- Order departed origin – out of the Chinese warehouse.
- In transit to destination – flight or ship leg. Silence here is normal.
- Arrived at destination country – customs clearance imminent.
- Handover to local carrier – switch tracker to your local post.
- Out for delivery – courier van, same day.
When to Worry
The single scan that should not be silent for long is Handover to local carrier. If ten days pass with no follow-up scan, contact Hipobuy support with your international tracking number and last-known local scan. They can escalate.
Tips That Save Weekly Stress
- Bookmark your carrier the first time you use it – saves lookup effort for every subsequent order.
- Set up email or app alerts on 17track for hands-off tracking.
- Do not order a second item from the hipobuy sheet to the same address until the first one has cleared customs – repeat parcels raise inspection odds.
After Delivery
Snap a QC-style photo of the item as it arrives. If it disagrees with the warehouse QC, contact support quickly with both photos side by side. Everything you learn feeds into the next order.
