Open a hipobuy spreadsheet for the first time and it can feel like landing in the middle of a foreign conversation. Cryptic tags, colour-coded rows, abbreviations in three languages. Ten minutes of learning the shorthand pays back for every future order.
The Six Core Columns
- Name – product name plus colour or edition (e.g. “AF1 Triple White”).
- Category – Shoes, Clothing, Bags, Perfume, Watch, Jewelry, Glasses, Scarves/Belts/Hats, Toys.
- Seller Link – the URL you copy into Hipobuy.
- Price – indicative CNY.
- Batch / Tier – factory or edition shorthand.
- Note – QC observations and sizing tips.
Batch Codes You Will Recognise
UB, PK, LJR, GD, H12 and many others. None is universally “best” – what matters is the note column’s current community reading. Trust the note, not the letters.
Colour Coding
Rows may carry a background highlight. On many sheets:
- Green = reliable seller, currently strong batch.
- Yellow = usable but with caveats in the note.
- Red = known issue, ship at your own risk.
This convention is not universal, so read the sheet’s legend if it publishes one.
Icons and Emojis
A star is usually “editor pick”. A camera icon means QC pictures are indexed – handy for the hipobuy qc finder workflow. A small flag can mark region-specific shipping notes (e.g. “not for EU due to strict customs”).
Multi-Row Products
Some products have two or three rows for different sellers of the same SKU. Compare price, batch and note before choosing.
Retired Rows
When a curator marks a row obsolete, it moves to the bottom or gets a strikethrough. Do not chase strikethrough rows – the seller has usually stopped stocking.
Category Tabs
Every category has its own tab. Shoes is the biggest; Perfume rows list ml sizes; Watches list movement caliber; Bags list material grade. Category-specific columns are the fastest way to filter for what you want.
